Scholarship Opportunities

Through its decades-long administration of numerous scholarship funds, The Community Foundation of Northwest Connecticut has provided over half a million dollars to assist area students with the cost of higher education. In 2011 alone, nearly $80,000 was awarded to more than 100 deserving students.

Most scholarships are awarded to residents of the Foundation’s 20-town service area based on financial need and academic merit unless otherwise noted in the Scholarship Guidelines. Please review the eligibility criteria carefully, as restrictions apply for many scholarships.

Application deadline: April 2, 2012
